What is this?

The CLI is a small program that talks to the public API of C99PHP.COM (https://www.c99php.com). You type a command, it fetches the data and prints it as a table, or as JSON if you want to use it in your own scripts.

Show global statistics
Export results as JSON for scripts and reports
Read-only: it cannot submit, change or delete anything

Requirements

Python 3.8 or newer. Nothing else to install. Check with:

python3 --version

Windows: use python instead of python3 (or install Python from python.org). macOS and most Linux systems already include it.

1. Download

Download c99php-com.py

Open a terminal in the folder where the file was saved (e.g. Downloads) and test it:

python3 c99php-com.py --version

The tool is preconfigured for https://www.c99php.com. Use --url to point it to another server.

2. API key (optional)

Without a key you get 100 requests per hour. With a free account and key: 10,000 per day. Create a key at My API, then save it once:

python3 c99php-com.py config --key sk_your_key_here

The key is stored in your home folder (~/.config/c99php-com/config.json). Alternatively set the environment variable DEFACER_API_KEY. Never share your key.

"Rate limit exceeded" (HTTP 429)?
You used up the hourly limit. Wait, or add an API key (step 2).

"python3 not found" on Windows?
Use python or py instead.

Can I use it in scripts?
Yes, add --json and pipe the output, e.g. into jq.
